THE TIME HAS COME
Oh, What a feeling,
It's hard to describe,
Its not really an urge
As much as a vibe.
The time has come
To toss out the cheer,
It seems and old lady
Has moved into here.
The nylons will be traded,
For ugly cotton socks.
When driving the pick up,
No loud music rocks.
To the beauty shop,
For a brand new Do,
To keep in fashion,
My white hair will be blue.
No lipstick to put on
At the traffic light,
And I'll always drive.
In the lane to the right.
No need to speed.
Life's such a bore
No parties to attend,
Just to the drugstore.
You think I sound down?
Did I forget to mention?
I signed up, today,
For my "OLD AGE PENSION"!Jay Cee ~~ ©
